I've seen a lot of discussion on a suitable travel bass (e.g., Asbury vs. Steinberger, etc.).Which would be a better travel bass in the long run...a Steinberger XZ (with the bigger body) or the XT (with the small body). Both seem to be the same length, so I'm wondering if it makes that big a difference in size. The XZ seems to have the advantage of having a larger body for comfort. Thanks.

Both of my XT-2s are very comfortable to play. Standing, they hang well. Sitting, the "kickstand" legrest is in the perfect position!

I prefer the neckthrough construction of the XT series over the bolt-neck of the XZ, too. I wouldn't mind having an XZ with a replacement Moses neck, though!
