Hi! I know this is not specifically bass related, but I have a question regarding the U4 in-ear system and compatibility. My band currently uses a monitoring system for rehearsals called JamHub (it has since been discontinued). We are looking to get rid of our headphone cables and use wireless in-ears. The JamHub has individual headphone out jacks for each member of the band. I read in the U4 manual that it should be plugged in to an Aux or output on a mixing board. However, I was wondering if I use a XLR to TRS adaptor for the U4 transmitter, could I run it directly from the headphones out of the JamHub? And, if so, would it still retain the panning capabilities from the JamHub? Thanks!

Just as a general matter I'd avoid buying the U4.

I used one as a quiet practice tool to cut down on cable tangle for about a year. I found the audio quality underwhelming, it was subject to interference all the time and after about a year it just started dropping out several times a minute. No repair possibility outside warranty, really terrible customer support from XVive. I'd spend just a little more on a proper wireless system - you're only looking at about $100
