Well theres one in a bass store here in spain seems like a good bass, looks good, but i dont like it being made in korea, maybe i have prejudments....
My Lakland is made in Korea and that´s a really great bass, Far better than anything in it´s price range.
Yeah but with the american lakland setup, the american lakland customer service and an american lakland warranty...
It's a B-24 custom and no price is posted for it. The regular B-24's go for $1200. They look like really nice instruments but they need a new logo!
AMerican American American.................... all these factory wars all sound the same i've played a guitar made in scotland and it was alot nicer then the 2k jazz sitting next to it.. i agree with the warranty but it doesnt take a american to set up a bass well!! but then again no one on this land can do it either!!
Isn't OBG a custom shop in Korea that supplies basses to many big Korean musicians? I believe there's a signature model for Ahhn of the Korean thrash band Crash. It has a bubinga body and neck. OBG is higher end Korean. It ain't Samick. And, yes, Korean-made basses are waaay better than they were, say, 10 years ago. Can't dis them. We talk all the time about the great quality of stuff that comes out of Japan, but there was a time when "Made in Japan" signified cheap junk, like with those old tin can cars. But they've improved by leaps and bounds, and Korean craftsmanship is doing the same.
The price is right, so I will be getting one. There are really nice instruments coming from Europe and Asia now, you can view Jung's site at www.obgcustom.com - he has sound clips and photos.
I don't really like that guys solo in the clip, not really in time with the rest of the music at parts. Personally I liked the guitar solo better
I agree. Dude was all over the place and no sense of timing. I guess some cats just don't think melody within a solo is important! The first clip with the young cat slapping was good though!
Off topic here, but does Musa mean warrior by any chance? (I saw this Chinese/Korean film called Musa: the warrior, and hadn't figured out until halfway through the movie that half the characters were speaking chinese and the other half korean. I was like, "THAT's why they have an interpreter" ) The basses look pretty good to me. My Brian Moore is made in Korea, and it's pretty solid all around.
Yes. Musa = Warrior Mu means martial. Sa means scholar or learned man or man of virtue. So, Musa is not just fighter. He/She is man of virtue with martial training.
