this bass seems to be an interesting take on the classic P bass theme.

it's smoething like a reissue of the old yamaha model.

i used to play one of them years ago (it was borrowed)and loved the tone and hi power sound.

i would like to know your comment on this new BB100MA, which is not the NT model with hipshot, the BB3000MA

this is BO. have you ever tried one?

    thanks!

I played a nect thru a few months ago & I wasn't impressed. The finish on the neck was chipping on the frets. It played just OK & sounded average.

About a week ago I played the Bolt On. WOW. It was ALOT better then the Neck Thru version in every way. The price tags should be reveresed!!!!

I almost bought Tumbao's BB1000MA but eventually I bought it new from a store. It sounds like a PBass on steroids. Thin and fast neck and it sounds really nice. If you listen to No Doubt and Tony Kanal, that'll give you a rough idea of its characteristics, sound-wise.

I don't know how they would sound, but those new GHS red-coated strings would look pretty cool on that bass  .
