Yamaha bb 415 vs Cort a 5

Ok one of my friends wanna sell his bass and he is leaving the country so I'm thinking about buying his bass Cort a5 .
I have Yamaha 415 and it made me crazy .
It was a good bass buy over time two time nut breaking ,selector switch breaking and entering electric in the strings make me wanna change it .
Is it count an upgrade ?

I'm looking for a sound like this
