I had one exactly like this, and there was not a bad sound in that bass. Actually, there were only amazing sounds in it! Shoulda kept it ...

    Grab this!!

I’m honestly surprised it’s still here! I’m happy to keep it, that’s for certain. I’m considering opening this up for trades as well. Specifically USA Fender basses, USA Lakland basses and Guild basses. Feel free to send anything you might have to offer. Prefer an outright sale however! Thanks…

    Hi! I don’t have a scale unfortunately. My guess is around 9-9 1/2 lbs…

I played one of these for years, I would say about 9 lbs. is about right for these. Great basses GLWTS

What is the difference between the BB1000's and BB2000's? Pickups?

TBer SlowpokeJoe had this to say in one of my previous threads:

"The BB1000S shows up in the 1982 catalog as a companion to the BB2000 and the then also new BB1200S

The differences between the BB1000S and the BB2000 are the fretboard with rosewood on the BB1000S and ebony on the BB2000, different neck construction with 3 piece maple/mahogany on the BB1000S and 5 piece maple/mahogany on the BB2000.

The bridge pickups also differ with an 8 pole pickup on the BB1000S and a bar magnet pickup on the BB2000S. Bodies are both solid alder, BB1200S construction is the same as BB2000"
