I just bought a BBN5A, and I'm looking for advise, experience, and/or opinions about setting the 3 position midrange control settings.

The mid control is a three position switch; the three positions are are flat, EQ1 and EQ2.

The control cavity has pots for EQ1 Center Point (Hi-Lo), EQ2 Center Point (Hi-Lo), and EQ2 Boost/Cut.

    Is EQ1 boost or cut?

I'm just digging in, and any info about setting this mid control would be most appreciated.

    Thanks!

I love my Yamaha - BB605. I have Barts in mine. As far as setting your mids, you just need to decide what sounds good to you. I would have a mid boost fo rfinger funk adn a mid cut for slap. Or if you have other needs set it up for them.
