Yamaha BBT 500H question (fan)

    I picked one up a few weeks ago and recently I noticed it was running pretty warm and that the fan was not working. Can anyone tell me if the fan is always on or if spins up when needed?
    Also, does anyone have the schematics?
    Any info would be greatly appreciated.
