YAMAHA John Myung 6 string BASS Guitar RBX6JM

Can anyone tell me, with certainty, the scale length of this axe.

The Yamaha website doesn't list it. This is a nice looking bass. How is their quality and sound? I've never heard one.

Would the neck be heavy enough to string it F#, B, E, A, D, G? To me the G string really isn't a bass note so I definately wouldn't want anything higher.

    Thoughts? Ideas? Comments?

I was looking at this bass a couple of weeks ago,it's a 35" scale. There are 2 truss rods in the neck which should improve stability but I can't say from experience if it would work with the lower register stringing.Mars has them on clearance for $899.

There was a post regarding this bass a couple of months back, and people seemed a bit less than enthused about this bass. Try to find it. I'm sure it'll provide good insight...
