    Hi,

Am interested in these 2 basses - finding it hard to make a decision.

    Would appreciate some opinions!

    Thanks,

    Damo

ps. I'm a beginner if that makes any difference! Oh and have a Orange Crush 20b amp.

  2. Hey Damo!

We are both in the same both here.

I was advised to check out the RBX 370 and the RBX 270.

There is only about £40 difference in the price but does anyone know the main differences in the guitar? :help:

if you want the orange amp, save up ;)

The BB is a more allround sounding bass, while the RBX's have a more progressive sound

I meant I have the Orange amp already - the crush 20b. Its cool!

Progressive sounds sounds good. I like the idea of the shaping available with an active bass. Have to have a good listen to them both.

Drumming Puggy - I think the main diff between RBX 370 and the RBX 270 is that the 370, or the 374 at least, has humbuckers.

  5. So, do you think it's worth spending the extra few quid and getting the better one?

The 370a vs the 270? In my opinion, the 370a sorta demolishes the 270 for that difference in price. The active electronics are a huge advantage over the 270's passive. Sounds a deal better. Haven't tried the BB404 however.
