Yamaha RBX5 A2 bass, white 5 string with upgraded EMG BTC circuit. LEDs in Volume pots light up as seen in the photos. These are becoming rare and demand for them is rising. The best thing about them, other than the fact that they growl like pumas, is that they're super light. The bass is about 7.5 pounds on my highly unreliable digital bathroom scale...still, it's well under 8 pounds. Ridiculously light for the sound that comes out of these.

The bass is used and has a couple of dings, nothing out of the ordinary, just what would be expected of a bass that has actually been played. Dunlop Straplock receivers have been installed.

    Padded gig bag included.
    • $425 shipped CONUS
I also have a posting for a black RBX4 A2 and may be willing to package them toward a Fender 5 string.

String spacing? Do you still have the original pre?

The string spacing at the last fret is slightly less than 3/4". I'd say about 17mm. As far as the original pre goes, it was originally as passive bass. The battery was originally only designed to power the LEDs, but as is seen in the video they can also be used to power the EMG circuit.

I'm getting some requests about the original passive circuit and whether it will be included. My answer is, I hope so. When I bought the bass the original circuit was supposed to have been included, but the owner had a leaky roof or pipe or something in part of his studio and had to move a bunch of stuff out of the way to keep from getting wet. He said that once he found the circuit he's send it off to me. I just emailed him to remind him that I'd still like to have it. So, there you go. If I get it, it will be included.
