I had this bass listed a few weeks back and wound up selling it locally to a friend. Well, to make a long story short my friend's GAS for the bass temporarily overpowered his common sense this close to Christmas and his fiance helped him remember that he had presents to buy, so he asked me if I would buy it back from him and take his butt out of the frying pan. Being the nice guy that I am, I did. Of course, now I have the bass again. He barely played it, so it's in the same condition as when I sold it to him a few Saturdays ago. This is a very light weight bass, 7.5 pounds according to my bathroom scale. I've been told that the 5 string version of this bass is fairly difficult to come by these days. It has a surprisingly pleasing deep and throaty sound. It is in excellent shape. It was recently set up with a new set of D'Addario rounds. There is one slight blemish on the bottom edge that I attempted to capture in the photos, but it's pretty tough to see. The headstock has a plastic top over the wood for aesthetic purposes. I've played a few of these RBX A2 basses over the years and all of them have a little space between the plastic and the wood. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or what, but again, I thought it was worth mentioning. The LEDs on the volume pots light up as can be seen in the photos. The only reason I'm not keeping this is the thinner than I like string spacing. I prefer a little wider spacing since I have cigar-like fingers. Plus I'm really only doing church services these days and no longer need a room full of basses. The bass includes a Road Runner gig bag. Did I mention it's LIGHT!! $435 firm which includes shipping CONUS. Here's a Bass Whisperer review of the four string version (remember, mine's the 5):
