It´s quite heavy, string spacing is tight, fingerboard is flat, six strings... umm... oh and I believe it´s very hard to find those anymore becouse there´s a new model, RBXJM2.

Do you know if it was a japanese made instrument? Is it well balanced and what are they worth?

I had one it was not Japan made, it is korean. It is really heavy, 3-piece alder body with flame maple veneer top, ebony board and custom inlay. 2 yamaha alnico Pups and yamaha active electronics (3 band). Neck is 3 piece quartersawn maple. Weighs in at about 11-12 pounds. Fast neck, tight spacing. The new model has a rosewood borad and I believe basslines Pup.

Local shop has one right now. It's a 35" scale and I found 1st position to be a bit uncomfortable. I don't feel that way about all 35's.

I don't recall if it's Japnese made or other. They were asking $650.

JM1 is Taiwanese made model while JM2 is Korean made model.
