YAMAHA TRB-1006 VIDEO

    Hey everyone,
    I made a quick video of me playing my new Yamaha TRB-1006. It's an absolutely incredible bass, if anyone has any specific questions I'd be happy to answer them. The song is an old jazz standard The Nearness of You. I did an improvised chord melody and the playing isn't the greatest, but it's just to show you the sound. If anyone is actually interested in purchasing one of these amazing instruments I could do more videos demonstrating different tones.

    thanks man! The tone is smooth here but this thing is incredibly versatile, you can get basically anything you need.

    i played the 4 and 5 string version of that bass. the bass played very well and had a good tone to it. i really like the string spacing on the 5 string.

    yamaha makes good stuff.

    yeah i went from an ibanez sr-506 with 16.5mm spacing to this thing and it feels and plays incredible.
