Who has experience with this bass? I checked one out the other day and liked it. The slap sound was very modern and I liked the string spacing and the feel of the neck. The price was also mush lower ($799) than I expected for a new TRB Yamaha.

The new TRB's are supposed to be quite different than the previous models. These are made in Korea, for whatever that's worth. I've tried to find info from people who have them before, but have not had much luck.

They are made in Korea, but I don't see that as an issue. Afterall, Skylines and Tributes and some really nice Ibanezes come out of Korea too. The level of workmanship on this bass looked great to me. I can't see where it dropped off from the Japanese made TRBs.
