i'm not speaking through personal experience, but everybody i know, mostly guitarists, that has bought a piece of DOD equipment has had it fail on them. I'm not exaggerating, and they may have been the exceptions, but personally, with track record, i'd go with the korg.

  3. I go Korg as well. DOD has some intresting sounds in the store sometimes. But the sales people remove that sort of thing before you bring it home. Korg to me has a cleaner sound. By that I mean that the effects and setups can be processed but still sound fresh

  4. :p :p :p

ahh, dude, if you're looking at that sort of thing , id go for a bfx708 from zoom, no questions

  5. I got an AX1B too, but ditching it this saturday.. it recudes the output of your bass by almost 10 %... i'm going for the analogue boxes from now on..

  6. neither:D, I always go single effects.

  7. Multi effects really kind of suck....sorry. the last thing you want to do during a set is scroll through some menus. Individual fx will ALWYAYS sound better and the joy of reaching down, twisting a knob and acheiving instant results is awfully hard to beat. Find your three or four(?) favourite boxes and link 'em up on a pedal board with a cheap loop switcher. This one maybe..... http://www.mmfxonline.com/cpr.html
quick setup...more fun to be had?
