This is a great bass for the guy that wants a 70's jazz bass in a 6 string. Its does a serious vintage jazz tone as well as an killer bite active jazz. The ash/maple combination is super smooth and musical. This bass is not your typical Performance bass, the pickups are placed in Fender '70's position so the bass sounds like a normal jazz bass. It does not have the usual nasally Performance sound at all. Its in great condition there is some player wear but nothing bad... 8-1/2 out of 10. Comes with 3 pickguards pearl white, tort, and black Weights only 10lb (light for a 6) String spacing: 19mm Pre amp: Performance 3 band Pickups: Performance humcancilling Bridge) Performance ( like a BadAss) Neck: Maple with pearl blocks and white binding Body: Ash Case: comes with gig bag Pre info: The TTL preamp has very clear, warm bottom and also each control has very wide gain adjustable. The basic concept of this preamp was made for recording in the first place. But we recognized it also works good for the live play. When you use the Mid. range control, it never spoil the sound of other frequencies ( bass side or treble side ) The TTL preamp will give you more variable tone and create more sweet spot into your bass. Bass 60Hz +-24db / Middle 450Hz +- 16db / Treble 6kHz +-24db This preamp has Live/Recording mode switch. It is making hi-quality active sound for Live mode and on the other hand more smooth tone for Recording mode. The idea of Recording mode is to help you to create the better sound that you want at the recording.( Have you ever experienced to feel the difference of the sound when you played at live and recording ? ) When you use the Recording mode, the pickup out put signal comes with equal level for the all Frequencies. ( You can get the sound exactly what you want !! ) A full electric power that pickups make provides you the more powerful and smooth sounds from top to the bottom. If you play single coil P.U. bass, The TTL preamp will give you the taste of the passive P.U. sound or hum-backing P.U. sound into your bass.
