Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by groov'ster, Apr 26, 2006.

  1. Well guys it was a tough decision but I just dropped the bucks on a new MDT.

I know some of you will remember that I was going to get a Ken Smith but this was to good of a deal to pass up. It should be here Tuesday! I can't wait.

It is an MTD 635 Amber/Spalted Maple Ash Body, Wenge Neck/Fretboard.
    Got it from Bass Central.

Two items on my gas list MTD 535 and a NYC Sadowsky.

    gorgeous bass, congrats!

This is off topic, but do any builders ever make Wenge necks with fretboards other than Wenge (like maple or rosewood or ebony or something...) It seems everytime I see them they are Wenge/Wenge.

  20. Hey is it Tuesday yet?!?!

Man I am dying over here! I have been reading all the MTD posts once again just thinking about what mine will sound and feel like. :help:
