    Thanks.

Unfortunately, this is my last pick-up (no pun intended) aside from the Valenti in progress. The wife may make me thin the herd, but until then, I'm loving this family.

    Stambaughs are sweet.

I have a bolt-on singlecut lined fretless 5 with Bart MM pickup and preamp.

I think it would be overpriced for you. The market for the Peavey Palaedium is about $250. However, I had a custom graphite neck mfr'd by Moses. He duplicated the exact profile and width (thinner than a jazz). The neck cost me >$500. Plus, when my wife and I first got together, she helped me pick it out... sentimental.

Nonetheless if I do decide to sell, I'll look you up.

I've seen a few on eBay over the past couple of months, I always keep a lookout for these. Good luck.

That Stambaugh is a beautiful bass. I've played that one. It was owned by a guy up my way (near where Chris lives). There's a matching fretted out there somewhere as well.

I feel I got lucky in finding it. Too bad I have to wait until Tuesday though. BTW - can you describe the tone?

It's been a couple of years since I played it so can't describe the tone for you. Chris makes a great fretless though so you can't go wrong.
