YEEEEHAAAA!!!! You did it, TB'ers! WE GOT THE GIG!

Now, I was told yesterday, but I was asked not to publish any press release until we confirmed the details...but this really isn't a press release - and I'm bursting at the seams to thank you guys!!!

A while back, I asked the TB community to stuff the ballot box. We made it to the final 5.

I came back and asked again for your assistance, and we made it...we won!!!

Now, we did rally votes from our traditional mailing list, as well as from other sources...but TBers really did contribute a large number of votes on our behalf. There were "over 1,000 qualified votes" in the finals for the five bands. That means we needed at least 201 to win.
There were only about 420 votes in the first round.

This is not the first time you've come through. I know Gard, Jason Braatz, and I think JTurner also got a little spamo-assist from TBers in voting polls.

I'll have more details to follow. I'll be running down to purchase some tickets, and I will try to set aside some for TBers who can make it.
Let me know for sure.

Only under-21 tickets are available for sale before the show. That kinda sucks because the under-21 crowd (if any) will be relegated to the balcony. On the main floor, there will be a huge bar and the Coors Light Girls.

The adult crowd can only get tickets at the day of the show; capacity on the main floor is limited to 100. If there were a way for me to preserve some spots I would. I can't.

If you tell me for sure you're coming, I'll try to slip you in, or I'll buy you a ticket. We only get one guest pass per member (and that's probably for my wife).

The local Cable RCN-4 is doing a video shoot and radio WMUH 91.7FM is broadcasting live.
The Coors Light Girls will be there too...the twins?
