    OK my music shop dont got alvarez and the other one near me is hr away (bah i wish i could drive :D ) so i need your opinions. I wanna spend 300-400$ is the price range...gimme ur opinions on good basses (5 string =)) for that price (or if theres a great bass for 4 string ill consider :) ) thank you and have a good day ;)

    hey BaSsDuDe230....
    What you might want to look into is the Fender Jazz Standard 5. I bought mine new last year, for about 350... I know the price has gone up to aroung 385 for a new one, or something like that. I totally love mine... and with the standard 5ers, you can get them with a pao ferroa (spl?) fretboard, which really looks cool.
