So who did design/build the bridge for the Hyperbass and are there any commecially available anywhere? It seems guitarists get all the toys before we do (a-la the hipshot Trilogy bridge)!

I'm sorry, I don't recall the name of the original designer, but the Hyperbass bridges are made by Zon. To the best of my knowledge they are only available on a Hyperbass not as a separate item, but that's probably a good thing as it would be a pretty drastic retrofit! Hipshot was working on a version of the Trilogy bridge for bass for a while, but I think they gave up on it. I have to agree – it would be nice to have more cool bass toys!
