    Hey guys!,

Here's a $150 question :D Which one do you think looks better on the bass?

    Rosewood pup covers

    Matching koa pup covers?

I like the rosewood. I think the rose wood breaks it up and makes it more interesting visually. Just my opinion.
  3. I like the Koa, but have the knobs be Rosewood. To be honest, both ways look really good, so it's hard to go wrong.
  4. Although they both look good, I would go for the rosewood.

Both look good but Id go with exposed poles either way.

I like the rosewood. It adds contrast IMO.

hey! that's good ! I'm getting matching pup covers, but i wonder if i should get an extra set of birdseye covers for when i am in the mood for contrast.
dunno, man - looks good both ways!

I'd say break up the pattern with Rosewood.

What about Rosewood covers and knobs to go with the Rosewood fingerboard?

Hey man, you just gave me the idea of adding the maple covers to my order. Do it, just do it.

BTW - I'd vote for the rosewoods for that top. Nice.

Yup, Rosewood covers and knobs would be the way to go. Otherwise it just looks like a big wash. The contrast would make the Koa pop out more as well.

I'd go with the rosewood p/u covers and rosewood control knobs.

I have ebony covers and knobs on my Nordie. I also have the exposed poles.

Congrats on yours - Carey is an outstanding craftsman.

    Thanks for the input guys!
I'm not too clear on the status of the knobs though... I've ordered them in koa already, but I don't know if the order's been processed by Roger yet.

...gotta say that whole "stealth" look of matching koa covers & knobs is beautiful. I dig it.

Rosewood makes for the better contrast and still makes the top the main focus of the bass...aesthetically speaking. ;)

I dig the all Koa look but would maybe go with exposed poles.

No contest on the Rosewood either but the Koa just strikes my fancy.
