Yorkville 400, hartke 2000

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Circus, Oct 21, 2003.

  1. Well, I have scrapped the fender bxr, and decided on getting either a yorkville xs400 head with a yorkville 410 cab, or a hartke 2000 or 3500 with a vx 410 cab. Which would you suggest? I am leaning towards the yorkville right now, but some more input would be appreciated.
  2. bah, I called em up and told them to hold the yorkville.

Go for the yorkville. More durability and a better warranty. Not to mention footswitchable overdrive!:bassist:
  4. Hard to say. The XS400 is a brand new product and it's the first Yorkville amp that I've seen to incorporate a tube.

I have Yorkville gear and I love it because it was durable, affordable and sounds decent. I use a Sansamp BDDI to improve the tone though, to mimic an Ampeg.

Unfortunately, I have never heard a Hartke product so I can't comment on it.
