You are forced to get rid of everything except one bass, one amp, one cab, one pedal

Inane theoretical question of the day:

Your country has just enacted a strictly enforced one-instrument-one-amp*-one-pedal** per bassist policy. You will be compelled by law to get rid of all your other stuff. What do you keep? Or do you just move? Or live life on the run until they find you and debass you?

    *head or combo

**not including tuner. Everybody who wants a tuner gets a tuner.

Does Canada grant bass asylum in your scenario? I'm heading for the border.

My 1959 Precision, Ampeg BA-110v2 and SVT Fridge 810 cab. That’d do it for me.

One of my Birdsong Fusions - either the fretless I currently play or the one I have on order - couldn't make that call until it showed up.

Quilter BB800, my Markbass NYC 112 cab. (If I thought I'd need to get louder, I'd swap for a 115 - but the 112 covers every non-outdoor gig I've had for years).

Toss up between my Fairfield Accountant compressor and my EBS Octabass. I'd be fine either way.

    I don't like this game.
  8. I'd stick with one of my 51 style P-basses,doesn't really matter which. If I could bend the rule a wee bit then the Fishman Platinum DI would be the pedal,it has a tuner function :D Would forego the amp/cab for another preamp/DI

  10. Assuming continuation with my current band I'd need to get rid of my avatar bass(!). This post is cruel! Yamaha BBG5S, GK MB500, GK Neo 115iii (modded), Tech 21 VTBDI (manual claims there may be some compression using this DI which I'd want).

Marco N1 P-Bass and Lull 5 PJ Bass, Radial Bassbone. I’ll forgo the amp for the second bass and just let the sound co provide an industrial wedge.
