You like? (pickguard change)

  1. Here's the 74 with a little change. I like it. But the normal white PG is awesome too. Its nice to have a change once in awile. What do you all think?

    It is different. But its still a Ric, so I like it.

    is the TRC black too? if its still white then it would look kinda cheezy. but right now the body looks great. IMO

    Thank God it wasn't tortoise...those always look funky on Rics.

  10. I just love the look of a black Rick with the white pickguard, it's a classic, one you don't mess with IMO.
    To me it kinda looks "naked" or "incomplete" now...

    I bought that new in 1975. It was my first "pro" instrument and damn do I wish I had it back.

    Hmm, IMO it'd look better if it was a B/W/B pickguard. I can't really tell if I like it or not from that pic, I'd have to see it in person. Black basses never look as stunning in photographs as they should.
