I just realized that I was quickly approaching 1000 posts and I have yet to post a completely useless poll.

    So, here's my poll:

What is the correct pronunciation of this gentleman's name and company? I seem to get both regularly in conversation.

pa-DOO-la sounds like a medical term. Like: "we just need to remove your padoola and you'll be feelin' fine"

Or maybe it sounds like some tribal artifice.

Well, coming out of the gates, this poll doesn't seem quite as useless as I had hoped.

As Falsehoodbass mentioned, it is one of those words that we see often but speak infrequently.

I too always said pa-DOO-la in my head until I had conversation with a PED-u-la person.

    Now I am just confused.

If you don't remove it now, it may get worse...ie more chronic GAS. :D ...this joke is not bettering my case.

Congrats on the new Pedulla (PED-ula) anyways. A pic is welcomed of course.;)

Ah, but is "medulla" pronounced meh-DULL-uh, or ma-DYOOL-uh? :)

I've always just "pronouced" Pedulla "peh-DULL-uh" in my head. If I had to guess though and wanted to sound like I knew what I was talking about, I'd probably say "pa-DYOOL-uh".

Reminds me that I never figured out how to say Futaba. . .or Tamiya for that matter. :D

C'mon, isn't there anyone else around of Italian heritage? My experience as an Italian-American says that it would obviously be, "pe-dool-la". Can Barroso comment?

or does anyone want to bother MVP with an email about it?

  17. PED-u-la for me. I went to a guitar store that sold Pedullas, and asked em how to say it. Maybe someone should call pedulla tommorow? That'd be a simple answer :)

  18. I always call mine The Red One.

Hmm, guess that doesn't really help.
