I gotta say that dealing with Carey Nordstrand has been fantastic and very rewarding, the guy is a master and actually really listens to my crazyness!!!
there are other great companies i have dealt with, but the first name that came ot mind was Careys's

AMEN! I can't express this same sentiment enough, either! Carey has been a joy to work with and I sincerely appreciate his level of professionalism, commitment to customer service, and his skill and vision as a bass builder. I'm also amazed that he continues to listen to Andrian's craziness!!! :D :p

    I can't believe I'm gonna post...

    in before the lock !!!

    I have 3 favorites:

1.) Fender --because Leo gave us his gift!

2.) Alembic --Took old fashoned craftsmanship, new fangled technology and a bit of hippy love and created the *boutique* bass

3.) Benavente --because Chris builds the most Kick ass bass I've ever played!!!!

  18. I'm still very undecided about my all time number one favorite company, but here are some that I have played and liked.

TBC(have one), Fender, Wal, Modulus, Warwick, MTD, Musicman, G&L, Warmoth and other parts built by someone cool.

    Some other stuff too.

You mean there's a separate company called "Gecko"?

Are you sure you're not thinking about GEICO?:D

I vote for option this poll sucks. Or "Other" if you will. I'd like more information on the Gecko company and the stingray company. IMO fender and squire should be together and so should gibson & epiphone.

I'll say my vote of other is for WISHBASS. I just really like tin.
