I imagine this has been done before but I'm to lazy to search for it so here goes...

What's your amp configuration? How many watts? What kind of music do you play and in what types of venues?

  2. 300w+ 100w head with a 300w 410 cabinet.

I play mostly punk in smaller outdoor venues or occasionally smaller halls.

I play cover material at a wide variety of venues(small pubs to large outdoor venues). I run the Qsc head(350x2) stereo split Hi and Lo. When I need more volume, I turn it up!:)

Im actually running an Eden WP-100 preamp biamped into a QSC USA 900 > Eden 210XST (lows/mids), and an Eden Nemesis 210CP combo (mids/highs).

Im only using one channel of the poweramp since my cab is 4 ohms, but once I get another Im gonna ditch the Nemesis for gigs and only use it for practice.

I play modern hard rock with my band at different clubs but also mess around with other bands doing classic rock, and classic rock influenced stuff.

    Peace
    Nick

Carvin R1000 series III bi-amped into an Eden D410T and a D215XL. Both at 4 ohms.
I play in a metal band. We play out in local bars and clubs mostly.

  9. Just picked up an Ampeg B2R to replace my 200 watt fender head that wasn't cutting it anymore.

I play classic rock, alternative, and prog. We've played small clubs, large clubs and 1 outdoor show that I was horribly underpowered for.

trace elliot series 6 gp12 preamp and ra300, 2X 150w power amp into a 210tvx peavey. (Just started out with my rack setup)

Why no 'seperate pre/power, under 600w'?

    Ampeg B4R 350x2 or 1000 watts bridged.
For most clubs I use one side of the B4r at 350 watts into an Ampeg 610hlf
    [IMG]
and the other side at 350 watts into a Carvin 210 wedge.
Some times I use two bag End 15 cabs instead of the Ampeg
    [IMG]
On outdoor gigs I bridge the Ampeg B4R into the 610hlf at 1000 watts and run a line out toan Ampeg Svt 200T to power the Carvin 210 wedge. Just like everyone else my rig is in a constant state of change so next year thistime it could be totally different. :D
