I voted for what I gig with: an Ampeg B100R solid-state combo. But I probably put as many hours into the amp I keep at the rehearsal space, which is a Music Man HD130 (mostly solid-state pre, except for a single 12AX7 -- think it's an inverter -- and EL34 tube power amp) with a Hartke 410 XL cab.

Before that, I used an Ampeg B15N, which is a tube-all-the-way combo, but then, it's not really a combo in the usual sense....

    I play:
Aguilar DB-359 - ALL TUBE BABY!!!
    Mesa M-2000 Basis - Hybrid
    Markbass LMII - SS

I prefer the all tube rig, but the others have their place. I use the LMII primarily for practice at home or small gigs. It has a great standalone tone that makes for very enjoyable practicing. The Mesa is kind of a backup head to the Aggie now. I'm thinking about getting a Mesa M-Pulse 600 or an Eden WT800B as well...

Eden WT800, basicly all SS but there is a tube in the front end.
I also have a little Ampeg combo I've had for a while that I play through all the time at home (and it makes it out to small gigs from time to time- well it used to actually) that is all SS.

has both a tube and an ss pre... and the power section has a 12ax7 to drive the power section... so I'd have to vote for several.

There are also the Music man HD heads that are ss pre and tube power...

SM-400S all the way! I might eventually go for an SM-900 or 1500 eventually, but for now I'm all good.

Big gigs I use an Ampeg SVP preamp with a solid state power amp.

Small gigs I use a Peavey BAM 210 combo.

I record using a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.

Main amp is: Ampeg SVT III Pro (Tube pre/SS power amp)
Backup is: Yorkville XS400H (Tube pre/SS power)

I'm not opposed to all tube or SS, just a preference. There are many of these I'd own if the budget permitted. ;)
