I thought this would be an interesting thread.. Give us your measurements of your bass! (just like girls) hehe :D we shall be checking different measurements of different basses. This might be an interesting thread since people are like "what does this bass feel like?" Maybe with these measurements you might be able to relate to some of the basses you have to see if the bass is good for you :)

Here is mine (1995 Warwick Streamer Stage I 5 string)

    String Spacing @ nut = 10mm
    String Spacing @ bridge = 20mm
    Neck Width @ nut = 1.75" (46mm)
    Neck Width @ 12 Fret = 2.5" (65mm)
    Neck Width @ 24 Fret = 3" (76mm)
    Neck Thickness = 20mm
    Weight: ~12.5lb

My bass is pretty big I suppose :)

Another one (2000 Salas Custom 4 string)

    String Spacing @ nut = 10mm
    String Spacing @ bridge = 19mm
    Neck Width @ nut = 1.5" (39mm)
    Neck Width @ 12 Fret = 2" (52mm)
    Neck Width @ 24 Fret = 2.25" (58mm)
    Neck Thickness = 16mm
    Weight: ~ 8lb

    Give us your specs!
  2. I see you've found the Warwick bass spec.'s page.
Own a Streamer as well my spec.'s are the same as yours.
  3. I only know a few things about my Dean--the neck width is 1.75" at the nut, the scale length is 35", and the string spacing is ~0.625" at the bridge.

My bass neck is big, but the body is small--unfortunately, I'm not clever enough to manage the metric measurement conversions from my US tape measure!

    Curbow Rockwood 6:

    Width at nut: 2-1/4"
    Width at 24th fret: 3-13/16"
    Thickness at 1st fret: 3/4"
    Thickness at 24th fret: 7/8"
String spacing at bridge: 20mm (from Curbow site)
    Fretboard radius: 16"-18" (very flat)
    Scale length: (only) 34"

    Length: 18"
    Width: 12"
    Thickness: 1"

    Overall length: 43-1/2"
Overall weight: about 12 lb. (not as heavy as my old Thumb Pro 6).

    David King headless D-bass 5:

    Width at nut: 1-3/4"
    Width at 24th fret: 2-15/16"
    Thickness at 1st fret: 11/16"
    Thickness at 24th fret: 1"
    String spacing at bridge: 18mm
    Scale length: 36"

    Length: 20-1/2"
    Width: 12-3/4""

    Overall length: 39-1/4"
    Overall weight: about 8-9 lb.

EVD Custom Acoustic Bass Guitar (from memory):

    Width at nut: 1-5/8"
    Width at 24th fret: 2-1/4"
    String spacing at bridge: 18mm
    Scale length: 34"

    Width: 18-1/2"
    Lenght: 23"
    Thickness: 5-1/2"
