What's your favorite all around 15.
EVM-15B in a TL-606.
Trace Elliot 1153T
old as mold Peavey BW
TL-606 Passinwind port mod & a 3015 non LF
Nothing on the market comes close.
But after trying a 15-6 I want one.
TL606 is great.
Orange OCB 115.
My crappy little Ampeg 115SVTEN. Its only 200 watts, and doesn't get super low, but I really love the tone of it. I've owned this cabinet for years!
This is the only 15 worth owning. Not currently in production but, now that the AEs are going bye-bye, maybe Jim will see fit to produce a few.
Bag End S-15
Eminence Kappalite 3015lf in the 5 cu. ft. box I built (There's an 8" mid in there too ).
Epifani UL115. Best cab ive ever had, but unfortunately not quite enough for a one cab rig in my situation.
OK......I'll be the first.
There are 2 that I really like. The Bag End S15D, and the Ampeg SVT15E. Big fan of the Ampeg. Its balanced sounding, and just seems to have a sound that fits perfectly in a mix.
using an orange obc 115 with a mesa d180, it's the best rig i've had personally
Bag End S 15D...
Love that 15B!
Acoustic B115 awesome cab !
Warwick W Pro 115! More bottom then a fat girl!
Even though I do own vented cabs, I'm still somewhat a fan of sealed cabs, so my favorite is a sealed Peavey 1x15. I've got a Peavey Pro 15 in it right now -- enough for the low-volume stuff with 150-200 watts thrown at it. Was once thinking of upgrading to a Definimax, but it'd have been only out of academic curiosity concerning how loud I might could get that box to go with a stick welder-class power amp, 'cause when I need to get louder than what the Peavey can do, I always just pull out the 2x12 Avatars. Besides, the Peavey box is damn heavy enough already.
