    ...was thinking about adding a chorus pedal to my gear. T.C. Electronic makes the best (so I've heard), just can't afford ~$250.00. thinking about a Boss. Any opinions?

    You should try a Electro-Harmonix Small Clone. Great chorus and cheap.

    ive said it before but anyway
    in my opinion the boss bass chorus is not very good. It sounds just like any ther chorus but has a filter knob so the effect doesnt come through on low notes. You would probably be better off with a biss super chorus or chorus ensemble which i believee both are cheaper. There is also a decent amount of hiss on the boss bass chorus. I personally wouldnt go with any of them. Try the Danelectro Cool Cat, Small Clone, and mostly that TC... ;)

    If you are just starting out with effects and don't have a lot of money to spend, I suggest you try out the Danelectro mini-pedals. Many of them are very good for the $20-40 price. I use the Slap Echo myself. It sounds really good.

    thanks for the advise guys. I found alot of Danelectro pedal for sale on ebay, not bad prices. gonna check them out at the store first.
