What are your 5 favorite (in order) mass-produced 4 string basses. By mass produced, I simply mean not produced by a luthier. In some cases, it can be produced by a luthier if it is a standardardized model. Be more specific than "Fender Jazz Bass", say, "Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass" or something else. No vintage basses (why? Because half of the bassists on Earth will say, '64 Jazz bass, '65 jazz bass, etc.). These basses must be in current production.

    With that said, let's go:

    1. Lakland Deluxe 4-94
    2. G&L L-2000
    3. Fender Marcus Miller Jazz Bass
    4. MusicMan Stingray
    5. Lakland Joe Osborn

I don't consider Sadowsky to be mass produced, so... :p

    (in no particular order)
    1. Lakland 44-02 (quilted cherryburst, rosewood board)
    2. MM Stingray (Autumn Sunrise/Maple)
    3. MM Sterling (Blue Dawn/Maple)
    4. Modulus Genesis (very hard to find a four) (Quilt/Chechen)
    5. Peavey Cirrus (flamed redwood, please.)

I really just put which 5 basses I would buy next if I could only purchase mass produced 4's. Yammy TRBs, Spectors, Warwicks, and Rics almost made the list, too.
