Wow, very Interesting!!I'll give you a round-about tie-in.
Bass players love Ampeg. C. Everett Hull, Ampeg's founder, hated rock, and was convinced that guitar music was going to fade from favor and that accordion would make a big comeback. He decreed that all Ampeg guitar amps were required to also have an accordion input. And so it was, until Hull sold the controlling interest in Ampeg to Uni Music. Ampeg even made accordion-specific pickups.
Astor is my favorite because I love that Argentine tango stuff....Astor Piazzolla. I believe he is the king at Argentine tango no?
