My favorite band is Black Sabbath,(Metllaica 2nd) but my fantasy band would be:

    DRUMS: Bill Ward (Sabbath)
    BASS: Cliff Burton(Metallica) R.I.P.
    GUITAR: Randy Rhoades(Ozzy Osbourne) R.I.P.
    GUITAR: Dave Mustaine

Either (Ozzy or James Hetfeild doing the VOCALS)

Actually these are just a handful Of my favorite musicians, and I wonder what kind of music these guys could come up with??? I guess that's why it's a fantasy??

P.S.- I Might even have Bon Scott(R.I.P.) taking Vocals, but I'd doubt he'd make a good metal VOCALIST, although he was a fighter!!! lol

Ok, here's a lineup I'd love to have heard:

    Sax - Charlie Parker
    Trumpet - Dizzy Gillespie
    Bass - Oscar Pettiford
    Drums - Gene Krupa
    Piano - Art Tatum
If there had to be a guitar, Tommy Tedesco.

    On a more contemporary setting:

Howard Levy or Chick Corea - Keyboards
    Airto Moreira - Drums
    Trilok Gurtu - Percussion
Hermeto Pascoal - Whatever the hell he'd feel like playing with a group like this.
    Zakir Hussein - Tabla
    Heraldo do Monte - Guitar
    Sivuca - Accordion

    And on Bass:

    [IMG] [/B]

    Will C.
  3. From an 18 year old's point of view:

Vocals: Gwen Steffani (No Doubt) - There's something kinda sexy about her voice.
Drums: Andie Rathbone (Mansun) - No one changes tempo like this guy.
Guitar: Hmm, that's a tough one...there are so many to choose from!
Bass: Me! (I guess Flea might be a good stand-in)
Sax: Great instrument for the band, but I'm not too familiar with any saxophonists...oh wait, my friend Becky can do it, she's pretty good and she's certainly add to our look!

    Modern Rock:
    Guitar: Mike Eizeinger (sp?)

    That's all I got!

don´t know, but everytime i listen to music i picture myself on this band:

Bass and Vocals - Me (even though i don´t sing)
Lead Guitar and Keyboards - Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead)
Guitar and second Vocals - Graham Coxon (Blur)
    Femenine Vocals - PJ Harvey
    Decks and Keyboards - Moby
Drums - Changes every time (really don´t have a fave)

    ok...that was weird...jaja
  13. Singer: steven tyler or Eddie Vedder (who could also play guitar 3)
    Lead Guitar: joe perry
Rhythm guitar: jamez hetfield (back up vocals?)
    Drummer: travis barker
Bass: me (duh!), cliff burton, or duff (i think)

i think that's the dumbest line up....it was off the top of my head. i'd probably rearrage some stuff.
  14. hey les, i really like your band. we have some similar tastes, i just listened to two PJ albums straight through. i'd take your band, but with ME on bass :D and chad sexton (311) on drums.

Just off the top of my head:
(I kept it to a rock band, simplify things. And only living people.)

Vocals: Iggy Pop (probably in his younger days),
    PJ Harvey

Guitar: Tom Morello (lead and DJ like sound engineering)
    and John Frusciante (rhythm guitar)

    Drums: I dunno about this
-Either Chad Smith or Matt Cameron cause they beat the hell out of their drum kits, (kinda like refined Keith Moon's)

    Bass: Bootsy Collins :D

Johny Greenwood - Johny Greenwood :)
    Yells - Ian Mackaye
Running naked man and bass x2 - Flea (I had to include him somewhere, not only is he very good but he's an awesome showman)
  17. How about;

    Bill Clinton-sax
    Monica L-organ!
    Bill's brother- beating the rap!
    Hillary- shady management dealer.
