Your favourite Peavey Combo300 settings?

    Ok - most people here seem to own rigs that I can only dream about so therefore I'd like to find out what are your favourite settings on your old and (t)rusty Combo300, if someone still uses one?

    Doubt you are going to get an on-point response.

    Besides, decent settings will vary between basses used, the acoustics of the room your are playing in, as well of the type of music played and a person's personal preferences as to tone.

    Just keep experimenting until you find "your" sound.

    Eric's advice is sound. Too many variables. What sound are you after? This is where filling out your profile can help;)

    I'm aware of this and I'm not asking "which amp to buy?" - I'm just wondering what settings people use with their Combo300, that's all. You can play samba in an iglu with a bass made out of whalebone for what I care. That's not the point here...

    But why are you assuming that anyone else has such a thing? :confused: And what help will it be if an Eskimo tells you what settings he/she uses? ;)
