My stuff is kinda working class and old school

Here's the current rig: SVT3 Pro and 410 HLF.

I always have PA support but this gives me all the tone variations I could ever ask for....

Here's the rig I also used to have:

I traded it even for a sweet new EBMM SR4 HH. The bass is getting a lot more use and it's easier to tote around! ;)

Never thought of an SVT-CL as "working class" with a $1500 price tag, but OK ;)

I have used this rig for about 9 years now and have been totally satisfied with its sound, but the weight of the rack is a killer. The combination of Aguilar DB680 and Crown K2 gives you a rock-solid bottom end.

For smaller gigs I use one of the cabs with an Eden WTX260

I'm pretty happy with my rig at present with no real rig GAS at all (it'll never last). Maybe an octave box would be nice.

The SS Lonnybass (usually only two basses go out).

  8. Tell me about this rig.
    Do you play 5-6 strings?
How much volume do you get out of both cabs and out of one?
I am thinking about this combo maybe even with an F1.
Please tell me more and be specific :)

  10. I have been gigging with the rack and the 1210L. I just got the 21012L and can't wait to gig with it. The GB stuff I used for practice. I may dump it.

Thanks! Unfortunately it doesn't include all of them, including my Warmoth-inspired "Psuedo-wsky," seen here as the Bass of Groom.

My, don't you look all spiffy, Lonny! You're prettier than most girls ;)

  16. Years ago I switched from my 8x12 Trace stack to the smallest and loudest at the time: AI Focus 2 series III and Schroeder 1212L. For ultra low end I bought some AER stuff and for extra clarity two Epi's. Which results in the most versatile equipment I can imagine. Suits any gig from small to large, in- or outdoor and I don't wanna change anything.
And another advantage: The roof won't come down any more:

  17. I know,I know.No pics,no amp.Just believe me,OK?I've been playing what I'm considering to be "outdated".For my taste,anyway.I've been playing through an Eden rig since 1996-'97,consisting of an WT-800,(2)two 4x10 XLT cabs w/cases(casters incl.).

Not to be a derailer,BUT.....Has anyone had this same rig and "upgraded" to a more hi-fi rig?Example:Berg,EA,EBS,Glockenklang,Markbass,Dr.Bass,etc.,etc.

If so,any regrets? Also,I would like to know the pro's and con's of each. Also,if you had the choice, would you go back to the Eden???

Sorry guys & gals?I'm from the "sticks".The closest "big choice" music store is over 4 hours away.If I'm gonna make the trip,I wanna go to a place w/some of you guy's suggested rigs in stock to try out.****Sorry for asking and not having access to the latest gear.****

Once again, sorry for the derail.Carry on.

Here's one of my rigs. 21012R Schroeder, Alembic F-1X Pre, Qsc RMX2450 power amp (bridged). I can run it in stereo by adding two Ashdown 410T's. Killer!!!

How do you like those "golight" cabs. I didn't know they were available yet.
