Your Mustang and Taped Tone Knob

Discussion in 'Ask Justin Meldal-Johnsen' started by rizzcombat, Jan 5, 2018.

  1. Hey Justin,

As a huge fan, thanks again for always answering questions providing invaluable information.

Regarding your '66 mustang, I've seen countless pictures (both in the studio and live) where you seem to have your bass's tone knob taped to a "set" position. Was just curious approximately where your "sweet" spot was.

Personally my tone knob's positioning varies depending on countless things (venue, song type, mix, etc), but I was curious to see if you had a sweet "set it and forget it" spot.

    Thanks again!
