I'll never get around to reading the whole thing. Is the Schroeder mega-thread just getting outta hand? Who among you have read the whole thing?

I've only read the first couple of pages then lost interest. I assumed that they were adding all the posts to keep the thread on the front page. You know, good advertising.

    Every single post...

Some useful...some not -- sounds like a lot of TB threads...
    but bigger.

I admit it. I actually read the whole thread. Evidently I have no life............ Actually I get bored at work and surf the net. My advice is not to read that whole thread unless you just want to give yourself GAS.

You realize, of course, that the Essex megathread is more than twice the size of the Schroeder one....

Actually, most of the first few pages are skeptisiscm. Jorg Schroeder does very little to talk about his products and definetly didnt bump the thread.

I suggest reading into it some more.
  10. I started reading the thread about a month or so ago, and
since then I've decided to start scraping up my pennies
    to get a 1210 to replace my 2x10 & 1x15 stack.
I found that all of the controversial remarks and people
asking for clarification on technical data very interesting.
It helped me to understand what a great product Jorg has
put together. I love reading the "testimonials" that people
are still adding as they get, and have opportunities to use,
their new cabinets. I think it's a valuable resource for people
who are looking into changing, or upgrading their gear.
If you read it you'll find that people are getting Jorg's cabinets
    for varied reasons and applications.
It took me three days to read through it, but I'm REALLY glad
    that I did.

You know, I do remember reading one of his posts and recall him only wanting to answer questions that were asked of him and not trying to advertise his product. I stand corrected.

There's a Schroeder thread?!? Damn, I thought I was the only one who knew about Jorg's wonderful cabinets...

In all seriousness, I do feel like the thread is so big, I hesitate to add to it any more. I wanted to add that I met the guy at the NAMM Show, and he is totally cool, taking plenty of time to talk to me and show me his new Mini 12 and 12+. And he remembered my review of my 1210 on the mega-thread, actually quoting part of it! I was impressed. Just a hell of a nice, humble guy. He deserves every bit of success he gets.

personally i think A: it's cool that jorg didnt promote his product yet word of mouth (fingers?) on a thread by regular players turned a ton of people on to them. and B: that for once, there is a SINGLE thread on a topic rather than 287. ;)
