So I was poking around on the internet today and came across YouTube. Apparently, you can upload 100mb/10 min (whichever comes first) video clips to it for free and can toss them around to be shared. I think there's no upward limit on capacity either, just each file has to be within that size. That and it's free. I looked at their FAQ. It says so. So yeah, I was thinking of tossing some stuff up on there. It seems to be a pretty decent medium for sharing of our progress. I'm thinking it would be better to keep the clips around the 2 to 3 minute mark so you don't have to compression-rape your recordings. Along the lines of this though I was wondering if anyone has heard of sites similar to this that allow you to upload and share audio only? Seems like that might be better for longer pieces where you're only looking for audio critiques and not general technique critiques. Mp3s only take up about 1mb/minute for decent sound, so you could get alot more in a smaller package with that.
