You've Come a Long Way Mr. Roscoe

    Just for kicks, I thought I'd post this item on sale on e-bay. Keith's work is considered to be among the best bass work on the planet. To others out there, calm down. I said among the best, I didn't say the best. Although, it may be my experience.

    Well you've got to start some where. It looks like this may have been some of the real early work of our beloved Keith Roscoe.


    You've come a long way baby! I don't know about this one, but we love what you do for us now!

    By the way, I'd say that's a '68 P/Tele headstock, not a Jazz. ;)

    Without talking to the chief elf, I would say that is likely to be a VERY early 80's item, maybe even a late 70's. We've been making our necks "in house" since the mid-80's, first with "hockey stick" headstocks (...hey, it WAS the 80's! :spit: ), the "modern" Roscoe headstock came about in the early 90's.

    Interesting piece of history, I may have to show it to el jefe...
