And December 4 = Bummernacht.
I have no idea what the significance of this holiday is, but count me in!
December 4 = the day Frank died
December 21 = Frank's birthday
Some mark Zappadan with quotations:
"There are more love songs than anything else. If songs could make you do something we'd all love one another."
Best sax line ever written: (narrowly beating "Tequila"):
I'm comfortable with waiting until the 21st to celebrate.
Do I have to buy presents for everybody & their mother; or listen to endlessly repeated Zappadan "carols"? No? Count me in...
Well, it is considered traditional to get the whole family together for a rousing rendition of "Dirty Love".
^^^ A really good one.
One of my all time favorite FZ nuggets of wisdom...
“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it's profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.”
We named our very first pet...a ferral kitten...’Studebaker Hawk, Fantastic New Superhero Of The Current Economic Slump’.
Across the course of the years, we eventually shortened it to “The Hawk”... not “Hawk”. For some reason it was always “THE Hawk”.
"Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe."
What if hydrogen is stupid? Solves the issue rather nicely.
I think that just happened recently.
