Anyone heard of these? Mule bass.

Check out the Z-glide neck feature...interesting.

The integrated thumb rest is pretty cool.

Never heard of those, but Dean Zelinsky was the original guy behind Dean guitars in the 70s, so there's some legit pedigree there.

Haven't played a bass, but a guitar player friend of mine says the guitars are outstanding. DZ has a store front in the north suburbs of Chicago, about 40 minutes from me, one of these days I will get in there and check them out.

I pass it every time I go to Chicago.

  7. I'm very surprised that we have had so few early adopters of this new idea here. I always hear how bass players are more willing to try new things but "So Far" not many accounts from real owners.
I was interested but bought a Tune TWB5 back then.

Looks like a strat and an Ibanez edc700 had a baby. I like it.

Pretty nice tool for that price, with a lot of features that other offshore-built (I assume) basses don't have. I like the thumbrest & the Z-glide features.

The DEAN USA basses are outstanding, they would be my 1st choice!:roflmao:

I sure don't need another new bass and I don't know alot of the Dean Mule basses. I just received an email that offers the Mule 5er, 30 day return, 5 yr warranty, free ship for $579 lowered from $729. That's if that offer stands once you put it in the cart.

Good looking bass, to me, in that Gun Metal Grey. But again, I just don't need another new bass but seems a good price if the basses' quality is all it's made to be. Sorry if I stirred anyone's G.A.S. It almost got me going. :rollno: But I'm good.

Wish they had more than one model.
