One of my co-workers has a fretless Zeta Prism bass that he'd like to sell me. He's not a bass player and has no idea of its value and in fact, has asked me to name a fair price as the $$ will go to charity.

I haven't played it yet but it does seems nicely constructed. It has piezo pickups in the bridge as well as EMG P & J's which I'm not 100% sure are original or if they were added later. Does seem to have a healthy amount of "mwaaah", though.

Any info, critiques, fair price range, etc are greatly appreciated!

None of the Prisms that I've seen ever had any magnetic pickups, so I bet that they were an aftermarket mod. That might hurt resale value, but if you're buying it to bang around, so what?
