    Hm, the Silly bass looks like Zon's Hyperbass - or vice versa?

    No vice versa. The guy lifted Joe Zon and Michael Manring's design.

    Then again, so did Jack Read...

    pardon the ignorance, but what does manring have to do with Zon? just curious. and i was just tooling with you of course. ;)

    Manring worked closely with Joe Zon on the development of the Hyperbass.
