Just posted to their Facebook... they're developing a new strap and you can win one if you tell them what your strap length is.

    Here's the link:

Strap Length Contest - Zon Guitars

Twelve winners will be picked... pretty cool!

    NO problem!

Free stuff rules, and I'm all about supporting "lefty friendly" bass builders... who also happen to build kickass gear.

    :D

  6. oh, that is guaranteed: I would really like to have a beautiful Pentabuzz fretless in my stable...

    Pedulla makes those, not Zon.

  9. Thanks!

  10. ouuuch... ok: goof of the year!!! But I do not know much about Zon, actually; therefore... I would really like to have a Pentabuzz!!!!

so, out of curiosity, now, browsing around the Zon homepage I discovered this very appealing beast:

Mosaic Series Basses - Zon Guitars but it costs an arm and a leg...

So far, my favorite Zon ever was a six-string that someone turned into a wide five-string. I was looking for a wide five. I ended up with my Lakland. But that Zon felt and sounded great. I am an old fan of graphite necks.

I think it was a Sonus 6 originally. But I'm not confident of that.

Zon now does a 19mm 5-string as a standard option, available in both 34" and 35" scales.

The 35" 19mm 5-string is a standard model called the 519... I have one... but you can get 19mm spacing on 34" scale basses as well.
