Zon on the 'bay

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by T. B. Player, Mar 10, 2006.

  1. This is gorgeous - and a heck of price. I've always wanted a Zon (especially since Mike Zon was the name I used when I was a radio DJ - thought it would be especially fitting), but I've grown too used to the wide string spacing. Thought someone out there would want to celebrate their tax return in the proper manner....:hyper:

That is a smokin' bass. If I didn't have my 5 string I'd be all over that at the buy-it-now price.

Wow, I'd love that. Nothin' to sell though, so it won't be for me.

    What a bass!
    What a price!
I order one of you fellow TBers to pick that up NOW. If I had money, I would have already bought it.

This is exactly the reason I've been away from TB for over 6 months. And now I cruise a couple of threads and I'm buying an Epifani t112 and trying to figure out how I can afford an Aggie DB750. This bass is over the edge for me.:bawl: :rollno:

That's a beauty of a bass, but I don't think i could ever get over the string spacing.

I love my Cirrus, but if I could sell it for close to that, I would be all over that BIN!

    Gone. Phew....

It was local; I could've even saved on shipping. Didn't need it though.

    Gear Acquisition Syndrome

Something that plauges me and most all of us musicians from time to time.

    Ah, okay.
If GAS stands for Gear Acquistion Syndrome, then I guess I don't have GAS for this Zon anymore.

Now, if GAS stood for "Got A Sonus", then I guess you could say that I DO have GAS.

My wife collects them, but they'll go to my daughter in a couple years.

Now, does anyone want to buy a Bongo five-string for $900 shipped :help:
