Zon Scepter basses

  1. They look really cool. Ron Royce from Coroner played one, and his tones were pretty good- round and punchy. Anybody have one, or played one?

    All HAIL Coroner!

    PS: Whatever happened to Royce?

  3. Go to the Coroner fan page: www.designvortex.com/coroner

The guys from the band are actaully in touch with the site's manager. I'd check out the interviews and ESPECIALLY check out the wicked good tab of "Masked Jackal"- it's a great speed-builder. :D :bassist:

If I recall, Royce is now chilling about and I believe playing some jazz or somesuch, but don't quote me on it.

WOW! Thanks for the link. Too bad Coroner didn't stick around longer, they were a very undiscovered talented 3 piece band, especially in the 80's...one of my faves...

I haven't heard these guys in years. Too bad I only have them on cassette.....and no player. :(

    Pretty cool site!

Coroner is so amazingly rad. I remember seeing a Zon Scepter bass in a pawn shop in the early 90's for like, $300, which would have been the same as $30,000 to me at the time.
