    I have this exact model, only in black hardware. The neck pickup on these is actually a split-P in a humbucker casing. The bridge is a dual rail humbucker. String spacing at the bridge is 17mm so it's a real treat for the finger style player. It's been my #1 recording bass now for 10 years. Super even across the sound spectrum and carries a natural compression that tracks beautifully.

    I can definitely vouch for that natural compression. this bass sounds amazing, and plays with pedals very well. Great B string too.
